Qualifying new residential installations are backed by a 5-year limited workmanship warranty when the warranty is included in your signed Nikao proposal or contract.

What the warranty means

We stand behind the installation work we perform.

If covered Nikao workmanship causes a qualifying installation to fail during the warranty period, notify us promptly. After an inspection, Nikao may repair, reinstall or replace the affected portion as the appropriate remedy.

Common exclusions

What the workmanship warranty does not cover.

A workmanship warranty is not a maintenance plan, product warranty or insurance policy. Common exclusions include:

Normal wear, routine maintenance, cleaning or joint-sand replenishment
Material or product defects covered by a manufacturer’s warranty
Color variation, efflorescence, minor surface variation or other natural material characteristics
Weeds, insects, animals, tree roots or organic growth
Turf matting, heat or reflected-light damage, burns, cuts, tears, odors or improper cleaning
Abuse, impact, excessive loads, vehicle use or use outside the agreed design
Soil movement, drainage, irrigation, groundwater or site changes outside Nikao’s agreed scope
Flood, fire, hail, severe weather, acts of nature or other conditions beyond Nikao’s control
Work altered, repaired, damaged or disturbed by the owner or another contractor
Concealed or subsurface conditions that could not reasonably be observed before construction

If you notice a problem

Protect the area and contact Nikao promptly.

Send a description, photos, project address and the date the issue was first noticed.

Provide reasonable access so Nikao can inspect the affected work.

Do not let another party alter the area before inspection, except for reasonable emergency damage prevention.
